Francesco Perrotta-Bosch is an architect and essayist. He was assistant editor of the Vitruvius architecture portal from 2012 to 2014. Named the winner of Serrote’s prize for best magazine essay in 2013, for the text A arquitetura dos intervalos [“The architecture of intervals”], Francesco also collaborated on projects and studies during the 10th São Paulo Architecture Biennial in 2013, and worked with the offices of Christian de Portzamparc and SIAA.
Talk: Lina Bo Bardi
With an emphasis on displaying three iconic buildings designed by Lina Bo Bardi in São Paulo – the "Casa de Vidro" [Glass House], the Masp [São Paulo Museum of Art] and Sesc Pompeia – Francesco Perrotta-Bosch will speak about the multidisciplinary character of her work. In addition to architectural projects, their objects and collections will be partially exhibited, thus showing the quality of Lina Bo Bardi's work with regard to furniture, set design, exhibition design and curatorship.
