Aperture Magazine: The São Paulo Issue


The Summer 2014 issue of Aperture magazine focuses on the dynamic photography scene in São Paulo. Reporting on the key photographers and photographic ideas circulating in South America's art capital, the São Paulo issue explores the city through photos and essays.

It showcases a rich cross section of both historical and contemporary photography, reflecting curatorial and research activity taking place today, from the inception of photography in the early nineteenth century to the photography collectives that documented last year's massive street protests.
